Size Matters

You probably know watching how much you eat is one of the keys to weight loss. Experts recommend you watch your serving size by using your hand to guide you. A serving size of protein shouldn’t exceed the size of your palm. Starches should be eaten in fist-sized portions; serve two fist-sized portions of veggies. And remember the rule of thumb for fats like butter and mayonnaise: Use only a pat the size of a thumbnail.
