It's about time somebody started testing seniors! I was diagnosed just shy of my 70th birthday. I'd been married since 1981 and had never had sex outside of marriage so I never suspected I might have HIV/AIDS. My husband had died five years earlier. At the time, the diagnosis was double pneumonia. No doctor had ever tested either of us (notwithstanding the fact that his doctor was active in the gay community). By the time I was diagnosed, it was nearly too late. Please get tested!
