Doctors need to make patients more aware of the long term effect of fatty liver. They should also do more follow up screenings. I was told I had fatty liver by my oncologist,but 5 years later after many CT scans and blood test following my kidney cancer, I was diagnosed with stage 4 Cirrhosis, by my gastroenterologist and biopsy!
