I've been on Cabenuva for 4 months now, I love the fact that I am not subjected to a daily regimen anymore. The only downside to this and many other ARV medications is that they cause insulin resistance (IR). I have become pre-diabetic, I refuse to stop the injection. I am currently revamping my diet to one who has type 2 diabetes (t2b) to see if that can counter the affects. Has anyone else noticed if their A1C Levels begin to rise while taking certain ARV's?

Haven't been able to get a price on CABENUVA. Currently, on JULUCA - another ViiV product - doing OK but last labs showed PCR spike as well as a dip in CD$ count. My OPTUM Rx via United Healthcare offers little to no assist with the JULUCA, I am able to get it because I am working and have insurance through my job - still with a very high co-pay which is covered by the ViiV card.
