whether it's Test and Treat, PEP or PrEP, Chemoprophylaxis is the future of HIV-prevention. to the condom cheerleaders who point to studies showing a supposed 98% ++ effectiveness, i say that most people i meet experience far more frequent breakage. to those that think condoms have been near-universally adopted, i say that perhaps a third of my raw-sex partners advertise themselves publicly as "HIV-, DDF, Safe Only". safe-sex harangues have only distorted the accuracy of self-reported practice.

I am surprised that Poz continues to expect anything from the NIH but lies. The first three anti-HIV drugs (AZT, alpha interferon, and ddI) were available by 1990. They did not come into widespread use because NIAID director, Anthony Fauci, wanted to study happens to people who are denied proper therapy. Since then 60 million people have become infected. Of those, 24 million have died. http[colon] //cid.oxfordjournals.org/content/13/1/186.2.extract
