This four-day conference at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers is the ninth annual gathering for Reverend Al Sharpton’s socio-political activist organization. The event will feature prominent guests, speakers and honorees that include presidential candidates, Sen. Barack Obama, Sen. Hilary Clinton and Sen. John Edwards, media leaders such as Mike Wallace and George Curry, and Tom DiNapoli, New York State Comptroller, to name a few. There will be an AIDS panel on Thursday, April 19, 2007 with Phil Wilson, Founder/CEO of Black AIDS Institute, Ms. Maria Davis, Founder of MAD, Living with HIV, Pernessa Seele, Founder/CEO of Balm in Gilead and Real Health’s own Marvelyn Brown.
