Losing sleep? Overeating? Find yourself glued to the computer when you should be resting? Stress might be to blame.

A recent study conducted by the American Psychological Association (ASA) reported that 48 percent of the 2,000 people surveyed lose sleep because of stress; 36 percent reported they eat less; and another 43 percent stated stress causes them to overeat or eat unhealthy foods.

The study also explored methods that may help lessen the effects of stress. Of those surveyed 52 percent of the people said they use reading to cope with stress; 54 percent listen to music; and half the participants use walking to help de-stress.
