Myeloma Awareness Month

In 2009, the International Myeloma Foundation was the first organization to declare March as Myeloma Awareness Month (MAM). Since that time, we have elevated our program to Myeloma ACTION Month. We ask myeloma health care professionals, patient advocates, and caregivers to join us and take action to empower patients and arm them with knowledge. Being aware of this rare disease can guide patients to ask their doctors to consider myeloma as a possible cause for their symptoms, leading to earlier diagnosis.
