Nevermissedadose

I really love to know, what WRONG with people. I have been Poz 30 and have had AIDS the last 16 of them. I have NEVER missed a dose of pills in all these years NEVER. In the early years you spend days and weeks vomiting in a trash can, just hope for one more day. Now you are telling me that, they do not see there life worth the time to take a pill??? Or you forgot!! How could you forget your life depends on it? Glad you were not sick in the early years or you would have been now.

HIV Poz Since 1995

Why did Alan Turing instantly come to mind when I read this? Adverse effects of oral medication can be corrected rather quickly be switching to different ARV therapy. Once branded "non-compliant" or "non-adherent", a patient could be forced into monthly injections as a public health necessity. Any complaints of intolerable side effects of the injections by the patient could be dismissed by health departments and doctors as being a part of non-compliance syndrome - casing more harm than good.
