We love the coverage - thank you! But we are not a medical school. Tulane does have a med school, but we are the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Public health schools address health at the population level while medical schools look at health at the individual level. Tropical medicine is the study of illnesses that are more prevalent in the tropical and sub-tropical regions of the world. We are the only combined school of public health and tropical medicine in the country.
