What about jam? I recommend it as a very effective skin and hair emollient. And you can also eat it on bread for internal cleansing. It's even better than bleach.
Gilead lost millions when they developed the Ebola treatment, Remdesivir. What better way to recoup their losses than to revive the drug as a treatment for Covid-19. So, instead of testing their drugs that are no longer under patent protection, they have brought Remdesivir out of the grave and now stand to make thousands of dollars per dose. The CDC should be testing all current FDA approved antivirals (for other diseases). Lets see that data first before going with the most expensive one.
I find it interesting that the first drug being tried is Remdesivir. And the only existing drugs that have been tried are Protease inhibitors. Remdesivir is a nucleotide analog. Why not try the other drugs in the same class, like 3TC or D4T. Remdesivir, if marketed, will make Gilead millions. Not so much for other nucleotide/nucleoside analogs, which are no longer under patent protection. There's no money to be made off of generic drugs that cost less than a $1.

The drug showing the greatest promise and data continues to be Leronlimab.
