I am 48 and currently have fibroids. I have three the size of navel oranges and have experienced a lot of pain. I was put on a high dose of ibuprofen for five days to calm the inflammation. I don't have cycles due to an ablation six years ago. I have a follow up next month. Looking for options and leaning towards a hysterectomy.
My Obgyn doesn't want to do anything about my fibroids. She says it's because of my age. I am soon to be 51.
I have a lung disease and I am waiting for a lung transplant and I hv large fibroids..they are causing heavy periods,constipation,pain in my lower left abdomen area...my uterus is twice the size its suppose to be...whats the best option for me at this point?

Hello my name is Juanita and I want to know how do u know if u got fibroids it’s just my body has changed a lot and it feel like I got something but I don’t know yet I go to doctor on April 29 my period’s been different and I be on for weeks more then 2 weeks
