I'm from Davenport, IA, so I'm curious if Iowa some sort of unique hell for people with HIV, or is it exposed because Sean Strub has ties to the state? It seems like we can't get through a week without some horror story about what's happening there. When I visit though, the gays don't seem unusually serophobic, even if they're boring. My family took my diagnosis in stride, and the state itself is increasingly known as progressive. Are these types of issues common elsewhere, or is IA worse?
