Reading this article has confirm-I need to strongly consider being an activist for women's health. I had an unethical surgery where a student doctor performed surgery on me with-out my permission in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The senior doctor lied to me and promised me that he would be doing the surgery but instead they went behind my back and had a student that I clearly stated could never perform surgery on me, because of the surgery I am not able to have children.

I am currently going on my 3rd injection of Lupron to shrink the fibroids to have the surgery next month. Thank you for sharing your story, I have no one to talk to.

Thank you for sharing your story with us Ms. Johnson. I am currently dealing with fibroids and I am trying to find the best way to deal with them. I am extremely grateful for your generosity in sharing your experiences. I know you must be helping a lot of woman deal with this most uncomfortable condition an I for one am extremely grateful that you did.
