Who gets to decide what is "truth"? Remember the days when AZT was all we had? or 3TC, ddI and d4T? controversial treatments; they might not work, and yet we fought to get into clinical trials, on the chance they might. And 3-drug HAART cocktails? unheard of, and downright risky said the naysayers. We should not be promoting such controversial treatments!! why, that would be spreading false information, about unproven treatments! -- Aspirin, found in Willow bark tea! might herbs work?

How about everyone just stop using Facebook? It won't happen because people are addicted to all social media just as bad a a person on opioids or smoking. No one wants to admit it of course.

I do not believe that Facebook is capable of independent judgment about things that are factual or not. The government, by soliciting companies like Facebook or Google to make determinations of what their opinion of good or bad is tantamount to grocery store journalism. As private companies, they act like publishers but chose to retain their own version of things. We already have a problem with corporate media and their seeming disinterest in telling the whole truth.
