I've had both Giardia and threadworm in my years of traveling. Trust me no one wants to experience the side effects of these parasites/bugs. Seems nowadays people are unable to think things out correctly hance our current situation in this country.

Drinking raw water is insane. Sanitation and treated/filtered water are largely responsible for the unprecedented increase in life expectancy starting in the early 20th century. Drinking raw water puts the drinker at risk and also puts those with compromised immune systems at risk.

This is just about as bad as the Chicken sushi fad now going on. We're clearing out the gene pool for sure.

Very bad idea and science confirms this. So many of us rely on science to survive and thus far it's proven reliable. If it ain't broke don't fix it. I'm fortunate to have a well. No water bill and it's condition is my responsibility rather than my hopes my water hasn't been treated like Flint. First it goes through a whole house filter, then through a UV light. Tastes great, less filling. Don't have to have a well to do this, even apartment water can be filtered at the tap.
