Breakthroughs like the Mexican team achieved (after 20yrs of commitment) needs to be shouted from the rooftops and reproduced in research centers worldwide. But as usual it gets minimal coverage (usually with derision) always contempt prior to (non) investigation. It's an extremely worrying trend - only interested in symptom suppression perhaps.

Obviously there are flaws and this is not a real scientific research. There are also issues related to the design of the experiment. By the way she doesn’t hold a PhD. She obtained a Mexican doctorate. I would suggest you mention this appropriately.

Headline has nothing at all to do with article; disjointed and nonsensical discussion of the findings; insistence that retrovirals are the only way to prevent virus; then a closing with praise for Gardisil. This is a garbage advertisment meant as damage control against a cure that threatens Gardisil sales. Obvious shill is obvious.

Not surprised at all PDT would work for cervical dysplasia and stimulating the body to clear HPV. HPV can be cleared, but often the right conditions are needed to support this. What a remarkable women! She understands the concept of healing versus simply treating disease. Blessings!

You mischaracterized what they said "The English-language article that went viral on social media, presumably translated from Spanish, included some implausible and even nonsensical claims, for example that the researchers were “able to eradicate HPV…in 57.2 percent of women who…don’t have HPV.” It doesn't state they eradicated HPV in women who don't have HPV. They eradicated lesions in women who don't have HPV. But it does sound nonsensical the way you broke up the quote.

Interesting observation, Nick -- I didn't realize the CDC hadn't updated their recommendation to align with the expanded FDA approval.

I've tried to get the Gardasil 9 vaccine now that the FDA approved it for people up to age 45 but Walgreens isn't allowing it because the CDC hasn't changed its recommendation to age 45. You would think the CDC would align with FDA approval. You would think that FDA approval would be enough for Walgreens.
