The vast majority of HIV infections still occur on the queer community. Covid is an interesting research line, but the risk of further mission drift for advocacy organizations seems real. This Pride was mostly about abortion even though monkeypox has shown how even a Democratic administration fails us. There has been next to no movement on access to PrEP. And there are myriad other issues related to the quality of care and prevention of HIV that seem to be falling by the wayside.
