Empowering Everyday Women Online, an online magazine geared towardChristian African-American women, is asking its readers, “Is HIV/AIDSviewed as a black thing?” The magazine’s editor-in-chief, DiannaHobbes, hopes that asking the question will raise HIV awareness amongher readers.

Thequestion was sparked by Senator Hilary Clinton’s (D-NY) comment at apresidential campaign debate that "If AIDS were the number one killeramong white women, this country would be outraged.”
