So the drugs are made by the company and then sold to......anyone?? How does the FDA control the supply? If Co. X is selling the meds to Pharmacy X doesn't the FDA and DEA follow the sale of these controlled meds? If a pharmacy is buying the drugs shouldn't the paper trail be part of the deal? When Walgreens buys a million pills it seems quality control of the meds and transfers would be paramount to the exchange. Thank God the government is on this (insert rolling eyes here).
Fake meds r so criminal. A person could die, n people who do this need to go to jail for a very long time
I think big pharma might be more concerned with the infringement on their patents and monopoly and the subsequent loss of millions rather than any danger to the public. it sounds like this is primarily repackaged drugs that might be used for people who can't afford the original. It's like a thrift store purchase. This was done all the time in the early days of HIV treatment, when people didn't have access to meds - there were warriors obtaining unused meds to pass along to those in need

Perhaps this would not be happening if Biktarvy was not selling at pharmacy for $3,000 a bottle likely under a patent to Gilead whom funding for research was paid by thr Government through collected taxes.
