Lose Weight, Lower Cancer Risk

Losing weight might help decrease your risk for developing a variety of cancers, according to new research by doctors in England. They examined studies of 282,000 people and found that people who are obese had a higher risk of developing various cancers including colon, thyroid, gallbladder cancer, and cancer of the uterus lining in women.

The study also found that the chances of developing cancer continued to grow as a person’s waistline thickened.

Need some waist-trimming exercises? Visit MayoClinic.com for information on how walking can help you shed pounds around your waist and improve your health. Check out Womens-health-questions.com for tips on how to combine cardiovascular exercise with tummy-flattening workouts to lose weight healthily.
