N.C. Black Church Offers HIV Testing
A black church in North Carolina offers confidential HIV testing on the grounds, News 14 Carolina reports. In conjunction with the Carolinas CARE Partnership, the Rock Worship Center in Mecklenburg County provides HIV tests at its two locations. Church leaders believe it’s important for them to educate their members about the virus. An average of one person is diagnosed with HIV each day in the county.
