Eating Better=Better Grades

Eating healthy is not only good for your child’s growing body, but also for their brain. A Canadian study suggests that eating lots of fruits and vegetables and cutting down on fat can help kids receive better grades. Researchers analyzed 4600 fifth graders and found that the children who hate healthier diets scored higher on standardized writing and reading tests compared to those who ate diets high in fats. They also found that eating breakfast before school made a difference as well.

Read RH’s “Building a Better Breakfast” for quick tips to make a healthy breakfast for the entire family.
