Walk Your Way to Better Health

Don’t like running? No sweat! A brisk daily one-hour walk is one of the best ways to burn calories and lose weight, anew study reports.

All it takes is some walking and dieting. Researchers found that folks who trekked more than four miles and did not eat afterwards burned 480 calories.  Discovering “the hidden treasures in and around our town and cities,” as one walker put it, is also good for the mind and spirit.
