Obesity Raises Risk of Pregnancy Complications

A woman’s risk of pregnancy problems increases if she is overweight or obese, suggests a recent British study of 24,000 women. Women who are concerned about how their weight might affect their pregnancy should speak with their doctors about healthy ways to lose weight.
