Eat Red Meat? A Cancer Warning

Women who eat a lot of red or processed meat may be at a higher risk of developing breast cancer than women who don’t, according to a recent study in the British Journal of Cancer. The eight-year study found that the increased risk was stronger among postmenopausal women, and that women who ate two or more ounces of red meat per day had a 56 percent higher chance of developing breast cancer.
