Black Children Need Safer Homes

Across races, the rate of unintentional fatal injuries among children has decreased over the last two decades; however, black children are twice as likely as white children to die in such accidents, according to a study in Pediatrics. These accidents include things like suffocation, motor vehicle/car seat accidents and poisonings from household products.
