Workplace Stress Might Contribute to Obesity

Men and women who are more stressed out at work may have higher chances of becoming obese, suggest researchers at the Royal Free and University College Medical School in London. Study respondents who reported job strains (which included heavy demands at work, little decision making power and no social support) at least three times during the 19-year long study were 73 percent more likely to become obese than people who never reported job stress.
