Vitamin D and the Juvenile Diabetes Link

So we already know that Vitamin D is good for the bones, but a new study suggests that it can also cut the risk of your child developing diabetes in the future. The report found that kids who took Vitamin D supplements were 30 percent less likely to develop type 1 diabetes—juvenile diabetes—later in life than those who did not take supplements. Experts claim that over 125,000 children are living with diabetes.
